This is the stream for the general practitioner and family physician (NOC 3112) or a specialist physician (NOC 3111) who has received a job offer from the province.
The candidates who have received a job offer for a permanent full-time job in any of the professions, skilled or unskilled from a Nova Scotia employer may apply under this class.
It targets the candidates who are employed in NOC skill Level C jobs and provides them a pathway to apply for the NSNP.
The candidates aspiring to establish and actively manage their business in the province permanently apply under this category.
The applications of internationally-trained general practitioners, family physicians, and specialist physicians having an employment offer from the Nova Scotia employer may be processed under this category.
The international students who have completed a study program of at least two years from the institutions in the province, and have operated a business for at least one year in this province may apply through this pathway. The candidate must intend to settle permanently in this province.
There are labor shortages in the Atlantic provinces of Canada. They work with the Canadian government to recruit foreign nationals in their job markets. The candidate may be residing abroad or temporarily in Canada at the time of applying for the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program, but he/she must have an employment offer from a designated employer.
