Post-Graduation Work Permits for International Students In Canada

The students can get the Post-Graduation Work Permit once their study program completes The PGWP permits the foresight students to garner the experience by working till three years. The Government wants to attract the students to work in Canada.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

The student must have completed the course in Cadena in a program which is at least eight months long from the authorized DLI and the program grants degree, diploma or certificate to the candidate

The students can get the work permit in the section by showcasing that the valid work permit is there.

They must have been a full-time student during their study period

Must showcase that they have got the official letter from the DLI stating that their application meets the conditions listed for the program completion,
Has graduated from a valid post-secondary institution or a private equivalent that offered a minimum of 900 hours, of course.

Note: There can be exceptions in case of leaves

PGWP DEADLINE

The student needs to apply within six months or 180 days before the official letter from the DLI is received about the successful course completion. The study permit should be valid before the results in case it is expired the student may apply for the visitor record to stay in Canada or leave the country and apply for PGWP.

You are deemed ineligible to apply for PGWP if you

Already have PGWP earlier
Studied a self-improvement course
Have opted for French or English as the second language
Have got awards funded by the government GAC
Have got the scholarship from Canada-Chile
Have participated in Canada-China exchange programs
Have most credits through Distance Learning
Studied in Non-Canada institute within Canada
