Parent And Grandparent Super Visa

The parents and Grandparents of Canadian sponsors may come to Canada may stay for up to 10 years without having to renew their status under the Super Visa provision. It also allows them to travel freely between Canada and their native lands without applying for a TRV again and again.

The visa can remain valid for up to 10 years, allowing for re-entry during this period of time. The Super Visa presents older generations of a family to visit loved ones in Canada for an extended period without work rights.

TRV AND SUPER VISA

The foreign nationals from countries that require a TRV to be issued may submit an application for supervisa along with the TRV. The supervisa will allow them to travel freely without having to apply for a TRV again and again.

They will not be issued a visa under this category. It will be an official letter from IRCC, which will authorize their initial visit to Canada for up to two years.

Who Can Apply for the Super Visa?

The Canadian government supports the unification of families for longer ends. Only parents and grandparents (along with their spouse, if applicable) are allowed under this super visa category. They are required to meet specific requirements before applying under this category. However, the applicants cannot be stopped from admitting to Canada on the basis of health and security.

The Application Process

The application is processed at the Visa office located at the country of origin of the candidate. Therefore, for verification purposes, the visa officer may demand supportive documents. Factors of sponsored parents like family ties, social ties, the purpose of coming to Canada, etc. are assessed, and these applicants are required to undergo a medical examination. The instructions for medical examinations are provided by the visa officer after the submission of the application.
